Hypnosis is beneficial for just about anything you can think of –but, I especially love the healing aspects of hypnosis. I love assisting my clients to unleash the power of their subconscious mind. But , we all have FREE WILL and I cannot do anything for the client that they do not sincerely want for themselves.

For the past 20 years, I have been on a quest to help people to heal themselves. I’ve read countless books on the subject of the minds’ ability to heal the body and attended lectures. I completed a course in Spiritual Healing and learned “The King Technique” from England’s’ Richard Lawrence, author of The Magic of Healing. I have also studied The Course In Miracles for 20 years and have found it to very beneficial in my quest for empowering people to heal themselves. I have had many experiences that have proved to me how powerful peoples thoughts are, especially when it comes to our ability to heal ourselves.

*** Most people are in a state of self-hypnosis at least 4 hours a day. That would be driving to somewhere and not realizing how you got there, being involved in a good book or movie, and all the other things we do when we are going through the motions.
***All hypnosis is self hypnosis. The client decides what they want to accomplish. The hypnotherapist acts as your guide to make desirable changes.

*** My mission is to join together with my client to assist them to join their conscious (which contains their willpower) and subconscious (which contains their imagination) to accomplish the goals that they want to achieve.
*** Your subconscious mind is your computer, so to speak, and it holds all of your life experiences and makes them part of your world. The problem is that the subconscious mind does not judge and once an idea is accepted as part of your world, it is surrounded by the critical factor filter that protects that information and it cannot be changed easily.
*** It is a fact that whatever the mind truly believes, the body cannot help but respond.
*** In hypnosis, the conscious mind is relaxed while the subconscious mind is addressed, allowing the critical factor filter to be bypassed. The subconscious mind can look at the situation again and update the information stored according to what the conscious mind now wants to change.
What is Hypnotherapy? (Hypnosis)
Hypnosis is a bypass of the critical factor to establish acceptable selective thinking. The Critical Factor Filters function is to compare new information with information already in the subconscious mind, our computer, so to speak, so that we are consistent. The mind consists of 3 parts. The Unconscious Mind (autonomic nervous system) handles all the automatic functions of your body’ like breathing, the beating of your heart, digesting your food etc. It also controls physical emotional responses, smooth muscles and protective reflexes, like blinking when something goes near your eye. Hypnosis deals mostly with the other 2 parts of your mind. The Conscious and Subconscious. The conscious mind is our POINT OF FOCUS. It can easily focus on the present, the past, or the imagined future. It analyzes and judges. It can only hold 7-9 bits of information at one time. It is our temporary willpower. And it interacts with the critical factor and rejects information not in agreement with old information, stored in your subconscious. Your subconscious mind is your permanent memory. It is highly organized and contains, unlimited information. It’s like a computer, based on your lives experiences that works by association and reason. Your beliefs and habits are formed by your past life experiences contained in the Subconscious mind. The subconscious mind knows no limits; it’s our child within, our inventor, and our imagination. If an idea gets past the critical factor, the subconscious mind will accept it as true and will immediately bring about conditions to put the idea into effect. It can turn your wishes, hopes, and dreams into reality. It can heal your body, because it is a fact that whatever the mind sincerely believes, the body cannot help but respondRemember this: WHEN IMAGINATION VERSES WILLPOWER, IMAGINATION WILL WIN EVERY TIME. You get what you focus on. The path of least resistance is the best. For example, if you want to quit smoking, the harder you try to NOT smoke, the more you want a cigarette because you are focusing on not smoking. Since the subconscious mind doesn’t judge, and is only positive, it doesn’t know how to NOT do something. All it knows is that your old programming liked to smoke because it made you feel accepted by your peers and that felt good as a teenager (or whatever made you start smoking). So you have that craving, nagging feeling to satisfy what you are focusing on even though your conscious mind no longer needs to feel accepted by smoking, the critical factor rejects the idea of being a non-smoker because it doesn’t agree with your old programming. This explains why it is all but impossible to quit with “willpower” alone. Instead, with hypnosis, you relax your critical mind and, imagine how good you feel as a non-smoker, thereby reprogramming your subconscious mind to automatically make your goal a reality! You will also learn self-hypnosis and breathing to relax you. You can replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones, such as drinking water. Hypnosis can work for anything you want to improve or “heal” in your life. It can help you mentally, physically, and spiritually. It can help you manage pain and illness and unbury reasons for self-defeating behaviors. I am not saying that hypnosis is a cure all, but if all medical and diagnostic tests have given no remedy, it is certainly worth a try. Sometimes, our conscious mind, with all of its doubts, just needs to get out of the way and let the autopilot (subconscious mind) lead the way. In many cases, Hypnosis can help to reprogram your subconscious mind to make your goals a reality- “creating your own miracles”–so to speak!
